Dave grew up in Amish Country, PA, during the 80's & 90's. Not that he was ever Amish, his parents had to move from Long Island, when he was a kid. Born at 2:29 am on 2/29, he always had a feeling that meant there had to be something a bit unique about himself. He's still not exactly sure what that may be, but is trying to figure it out with every song. His love of music started like any self respecting '80's baby... MTV. He loved basically all music videos, but it was the early '90's when he really started to realize he liked some genres more than others and a music fan was born.

Though his parents tried every trick in their book (ie, incorrectly thinking they blocked certain channels, a private xtian church school), there was finally a concert he was allowed to go to with friends. It was 1997, ska was King. The most popular xtian ska band was coming to town. The opening band was Ghoti Hook (RIP), they tore the place down with what he thought (at the time) was aggressive/furious punk riffage, funny stage banter and skeleton costumes... the rest is history

Mixed with the punk/DIY ethos, his love of outsider music, and Presidents of the USA making him realize you could play a guitar with 3 strings if you wanted to, Dave's out to make sure you know that he doesn't actually know how to play any instruments (yet?), but he's not going to let that stop him any longer.
